University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova has signed an agreement of cooperation with the City Heating in Gjakova, which operates with biomass. At the meeting between the Rector of UFAGJ, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku and the Director of the City Heating in Gjakova, Blerim Halilaj, the important role of renewable energy and the creation of new staff to help in this field were discussed.

The Rector of the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, emphasized the importance of this cooperation, which is expected to contribute not only to the preparation of students to be successful in the labor market, but also to sustainable solutions to the energy challenges of this era.

The Director of the City Heating, Blerim Halilaj, appreciated the importance of involving young people in practical projects, emphasizing that renewable energy requires innovation and creativity to continue the good work being done at the City Heating. He said that the Engineering Informatics program is necessary because its development benefits the entire community.
