Ass. Lorina Pervorfi, doctoral candidate at the University of Ljubljana, participated in the Second Doctoral Conference "New Perspectives in Humanities and Social Sciences" with the paper "Metanarrative and Ethical Dimensions of Autofiction".

This paper addressed the relationship between metanarrative and ethics in autofiction, examining how authors of this genre challenge the boundaries between fact and fiction and construct their ethical position through narrative. Through the analysis of contemporary works, the paper argued that autofiction not only reviews concepts of truth and authenticity, but also raises important ethical questions about the responsibility of the author and the impact of narrative on the reader. Thus, the study was closely related to the conference theme, offering a new perspective on the intersection of narrative, identity, and ethics in modern literature.

The participation in this conference enabled her to exchange knowledge with colleagues from the University of Ljubljana and other international academic institutions, contributing to the expansion of her professional networks and the advancement of her research career."
