The Professor of the English Language Department: Translation and Interpretation of the Faculty of Philology, Prof. Ass.Dr. Mejreme Ymeri, have stayed for a week in the University of Salento, in Italy, in regards to the mobility projects of the ERASMUS+ program. During the visit, she held lectures in the University of Salento, in the city of Lecce and Brindisi, where she shared her knowledge in relation to the importance of English Language in the country and the region, the role of cinema in the improvement of linguistic skills, as well as development trends of using foreign languages in Kosovo.

During her stay in Italy, Professor Ymeri had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with her colleagues in the host University, emphasizing that this mobility has impacted in the extension of her network for professional collaborations, and has contributed in the further development of her academic experience. Professor Ymeri was welcomed by the staff of the University of Salento, including Professor Thomas Wulstan Christiansen, as well as the Office for International Collaboration of this university.

This mobility project is an excellent opportunity for strengthening the international relations and development of the academic collaborations between the higher education institutions.
