The English Language – Translation and Interpretation (BA) study program at the Faculty of Philology, University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, has completed the monitoring process conducted by the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA). The monitoring visit took place on 5 May 2026 as part of the Agency’s regular procedures for verifying compliance with accreditation standards and ensuring the continuous enhancement of quality in higher education.

During the monitoring visit, the KAA review team held meetings with the management of the Faculty of Philology, observed the teaching process, visited the program’s facilities and infrastructure, and met with students. Particular attention was given to the quality of teaching, program organization, the engagement of the academic staff, study conditions, and compliance with accreditation standards.

In its final report, the Kosovo Accreditation Agency concluded that the English Language – Translation and Interpreting study program is implemented in accordance with accreditation standards and demonstrates a continuous commitment to delivering high-quality education. The monitoring process highlighted the effective operation of the program, the quality of the teaching and learning process, the professionalism and dedication of the program coordinators and academic staff, as well as the supporting infrastructure that enables the successful delivery of the curriculum. Students also expressed a high level of satisfaction with the study conditions, academic staff, and the available learning resources, confirming the program’s quality and high academic standards.

This positive evaluation reflects the continued commitment and dedication of the program coordinators of the English Language – Translation and Interpretation Program, the program’s academic staff, and the Faculty of Philology at the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova to maintaining and continuously enhancing quality in teaching, research, and the development of academic programs. The monitoring results reaffirm the institution’s commitment to meeting the highest standards of higher education and further strengthen the position of the English Language – Translation and Interpretation  Program as a high-quality, contemporary academic program dedicated to preparing competent professionals in the fields of translation, interpreting, and English language studies.
