Information session for EU Post-Diplomatic Scholarships held at the Faculty of Philology in Gjakova

On 19 November 2024, at 11:30 AM, an informational session on postgraduate scholarships under the EU program was held in Hall L6 at the Faculty of Philology in Gjakova. The event was organized by the European Union Office in Kosovo and the Office of the Prime Minister of the Government of Kosovo.

The purpose of the session was to inform students about scholarship applications offered by the European Union Office in Kosovo and the Office of the Prime Minister of the Government of Kosovo. This was the 15th round of applications for Master’s scholarships funded by the European Union and the Government of Kosovo, managed by the EU Office in Kosovo and implemented by the Consortium consisting of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the National Institute of Public Service.

Also present at this session were the Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Projects, Prof. Ass. Dr. Nazli Tyfekci, as well as the representative of this project, Violeta Ademi.

The “Young Cell Scheme” program is a unique opportunity, and the scholarship provides full funding for young Kosovar students in various fields to study at some of the best universities in EU member states. It also offers the opportunity to work immediately after graduation in the civil service of the Government of Kosovo for a period of three years upon successful completion of studies.

The main objective of YCS is to provide unique opportunities for students to study and enhance their professional prospects through long-term employment within Kosovo’s civil service.
