A Lecture was held at the Faculty of Philology by Albanian Literature scholar Prof. Dr. Anton Berisha
On May 21, 2025, in the organization of the Literary Club ‘’Traces of the Pen’’, and in collaboration with the Faculty of Philology, a lecture was held with the well-known scholar of Albanian Literature Prof.Dr. Nikë Berisha, on the topic ‘’Characteristics and values of the literature of Italian Arbëreshi’’. This even marked a significant cultural and academic moment that enriches our university life.
Through this lecture, our students got to know more closely with the culture, values and customs of the Italian Arbëreshi, who are an integral part of our national identity.
Part of this organization were also the works of our students who made a tireless and dedicated work. Present were: the Dean of the Faculty of Philology Prof.Asoc. Dr. Labinot Berisha, Vice-dean of the Faculty of Philology Prof. Ass. Dr. Senad Neziri, as well as Professors and students from the entire university.
The Head of the Literary Club, Arjeta Nikçi, in collaboration with the Faculty of Philology, presented a certificate of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Anton Nikë Berisha as a torch of knowledge and a master of the word in the service of our national identity and heritage. While the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Labinot Berisha, was presented with a symbolic gift as a token of gratitude for his continued support.
Prof. Dr. Anton Nikë Berisha enriched our faculty's library with the set of books "Selected Literary Studies".
