The first Literary Competition held by the Literary Club "Traces of the Pen"

On March 24, 2026, a literary session was held to select the winners of the Literary Contest, in honor of World Poetry Day. The event was attended by academic staff, students, and literature enthusiasts.

The activity began with a welcoming speech by the Chairwoman of the Literary Club, Arjeta Nikçi, who emphasized the importance and value of the written word in literary creation. Following this, the works of all participants were read, while the jury carried out the evaluation process to select the most artistically accomplished texts.

The jury consisted of the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Prof. Dr. Labinot Berisha, Ma. Leonitë Parallangaj PhD, and student Arjeta Gjugja.

The award for the best poem was given to the work titled “Ajo që s’thuhet” (“That Which Is Unspoken”), while the award for the best prose was given to the work titled “Boshllëku që mori formën e tij” (“The Void That Took Its Form”). The winners were honored with certificates of recognition and literary publications in poetry and prose, while all participants received certificates as a token of appreciation and gratitude for their contributions.
