Coordination meeting held for the accreditation of new programs and quality assurance at the Faculty of Philology
As part of the preparations for the accreditation process of new study programs, on April 20, 2026, a coordination meeting was held between the Quality Assurance Office, the management of the Faculty of Philology, the Faculty-level Quality Assurance Committee, and the program coordinators of this Faculty.
The meeting was attended by:

Prof. Dr. Fridrik Dulaj – Member of the Faculty-level Quality Committee;
Prof. Assoc. Dr. Sazan Kryeziu – Member of the Faculty-level Quality Committee;
Ass. Lorina Përvorfi – Member of the Faculty-level Quality Committee;
Mentore Zejnullahu – Member of the Faculty-level Quality Committee;
Gentiana Kuqi – Member of the Faculty-level Quality Committee (student representative);
Prof. Ass. Dr. Mejreme Ymeri – Program coordinator in English Language – Translation and Interpreting;

The purpose of the meeting was to inform and coordinate the necessary steps in the process of applying for the accreditation of new study programs, as well as to provide updates on the actions being undertaken by the Faculty of Philology in this regard.
During the meeting, the Faculty’s plans for new programs and the preparations made so far were discussed in detail, emphasizing the Faculty’s orientation toward developing programs aligned with labor market demands, contemporary educational trends, and quality assurance standards. The goal remains to ensure that these programs are relevant, sustainable, and attractive to students.
The Head of the Quality Assurance Office reiterated the guidelines and steps to be followed prior to applying for new programs, as well as the established quality assurance standards in accordance with the regulations in force. She also emphasized the importance of implementing the recommendations provided by experts for existing programs and following the steps outlined in the improvement plan toward their implementation.
Representatives of the Faculty of Philology committed to continuing their intensive work and to following all procedures in accordance with the Regulation on Quality Assurance and Evaluation of the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, as well as Regulation (AKA) No. 04/2024 on the Accreditation/Reaccreditation and Validation Manual for higher education institutions and study programs at the bachelor and master levels.
This meeting represents an important step toward advancing quality assurance processes and successfully preparing for the accreditation of new study programs.
