Research-Scientific Visit and Lecture on William Blake in the Digital Age
The Department of English Language and Literature, within the Master’s program in Literary Studies, hosted Ms. Blerina Jashari-Zyrapi, a PhD candidate in English literature at the South East European University in North Macedonia, as part of a research visit. The activity was conducted under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Sazan Kryeziu, head of the program.
During the visit, Ms. Jashari-Zyrapi participated in academic discussions with students, offering critical analyses on theoretical issues in literary studies. The visit concluded with an open lecture entitled “Myth, Deconstruction, and the Poetry of William Blake in the Digital Age,” in which she presented a coherent critical reading of William Blake’s poetry, integrating the deconstructive approach with the analysis of myth in the context of digital transformations.
This visit represents an important contribution to enriching students’ academic experience and strengthening cooperation and critical dialogue within the program.
