Post-accreditation institutional visit to UFAGJ successfully concludes
On 11 June 2026, the "Fehmi Agani" University in Gjakova (UFAGJ) successfully hosted the post-accreditation institutional visit, conducted as part of the monitoring process assessing the implementation of recommendations resulting from the institutional accreditation.
The visit was carried out with the participation of the international expert, Prof. Milan Pol, and the Senior Monitoring Officer at the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), Ms. Leona Kovaçi.
The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the University's progress in implementing the recommendations from the previous institutional accreditation process, as well as to review the developments and improvements achieved during the 2024–2026 period.
During the discussions, Prof. Milan Pol highlighted the significant progress made by UFAGJ in implementing and fulfilling the recommendations arising from the institutional accreditation process between 2024 and 2026. Particular attention was given to the University's achievements in quality assurance, institutional governance, teaching and learning, scientific research, internationalization, and student services.
As part of the visit, separate meetings were held with the University's leadership, academic and administrative staff, students, and alumni. These meetings provided concrete evidence of the measures undertaken, the results achieved, and the mechanisms established to ensure continuous institutional improvement.
The visit also served to identify the University's achievements, challenges, and future commitments toward further enhancing quality in teaching, research, institutional governance, and student support services.
The successful completion of this post-accreditation visit demonstrates the strong commitment of the "Fehmi Agani" University in Gjakova to continuous quality enhancement, strengthening the culture of accountability, and implementing contemporary standards in higher education.
