As part of its international academic cooperation, cultural exchange, and commitment to the internationalization of higher education, the Embassy of the United States of America in Kosovo organized the “Welcoming Fulbright Students” event, dedicated to students and scholars participating in the Fulbright Program.

The event was also attended by the Head of the Department of English Language, Prof. Mejreme Ymeri, who represented the Faculty of Philology and the Department of English Language.

The Faculty of Philology is pleased to welcome the engagement of student Effi Jacobsen, a participant in the Fulbright Program, who will be engaged with the Department of English Language as part of the Translation and Interpreting Program. During her stay, she will co-teach classes, lectures, and other academic activities, bringing new experiences and perspectives to the university environment in the fields of language, translation, and interpreting.

The Faculty of Philology expresses its gratitude to the Embassy of the United States of America in Kosovo and the Fulbright Program for their continued support of academic cooperation, cultural exchange, and the internationalization of higher education. Such initiatives make an important contribution to creating new opportunities for students and academic staff, as well as to strengthening international connections and partnerships.
