"Fehmi Agani" University in Gjakova took great pleasure in welcoming Prof. Tristan Hicks from the USA, who conducted his first workshop for the academic staff at the Faculty of Philology. The workshop focused on the topic of "Media Literacy”.

Media Literacy has become a necessity in today's digital age and prof. Hicks' expertise provided valuable insights to further develop the English Language - Translation and Interpretation Program. The workshop was aimed at empowering the English language staff to gain further knowledge in the ever-growing field of media literacy.

The academic staff actively participated in discussions and activities designed to promote critical thinking and analytical skills. Prof. Hicks, drawing on his own experience, shared practical strategies to help teachers incorporate media interpretation concepts into their teaching methodologies.

The workshop, which will continue for several consecutive weeks, will serve as a platform for the professional development of our academic staff.
