Rector Bunjaku and Dean Kamberi part of the WB-Edu4migration project

The Rector of the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku and the Dean of the Faculty of the Social Sciences, Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi participated in the project ‘WBEdu4migration’, with the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova is in partnership. In regards to this project, took place the first meeting from 16 to 18 December 2024. During the meeting were presented the data related to the study programs, number of students, organizational structure, the role of UFAGJ in the project, action plans, as well as the expectations and benefits of the project.

The purpose of this project is to identify the gap in the competencies of the social workers in Kosovo and Albania, especially in relation to their ability to support effectively the migrant effective, especially through an approach that includes: the reform, the development of the digital courses with micro credentials and continuous activities for the capacity building.

The project is financed by the European Commission in Kosovo through the ERASMUS+ Program and includes a wide partnership from colleges, institutes and Universities from Kosovo, Albania, Denmark, Italy and Austria. Involved in this project are institutions such as AAB, International Business College Mitrovica, University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova, the Institute for Research Education and Social Development, the University of Tirana, the Barleti University, The University College LOGOS, the Institute of Roman Culture in Albania, UCL University College, Fachhochschule Salzburg, IULM University.
